§ 4 Use of Web Fonts
(1) Our websites use external fonts, Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are integrated by making a server request, typically to a server hosted by Google in the United States. This process involves sending information to the server about which of our web pages you have visited. Furthermore, Google stores the IP address of the visitor’s device’s browser when accessing these web pages. (2) For further information, please refer to Google’s privacy policies, which you can access here: https://www.google.com/fonts#AboutPlace:about https://www.google.com/policies/privacy

§ 5 Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. (2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. (3) You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, we inform you that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. (4) This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This ensures that IP addresses are further processed in a shortened form, eliminating any personal reference. In cases where personal data is collected about you, any direct reference to individuals is thus excluded, and the personal data is promptly deleted. (5) We use Google Analytics to analyze and continually improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. (2) When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the respective subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this statement is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in with Google, your data is directly associated with your account. If you do not want this association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research, and/or the custom design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of providing personalized advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact Google to exercise this right. § 8 Brute Force Protection
Our website is based on the WordPress Content Management System. WordPress provides an administrative area where website content can be edited. Access to this area is only available to editors and administrators of this website. This access is monitored and logged by the WordPress plugin “iThemes Security,” which records information in cases of incorrect logins or attempts to discover access credentials through frequent password testing (a “brute force attack”). Access attempts to the administrative area are stored in our database, including the IP address, for 7 days and are then deleted. In cases of multiple unauthorized access attempts, the IP may be stored and blocked beyond this period. The collection and processing of the IP address by “iThemes Security” is in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as it serves the legitimate interest of protecting this site from technical attacks and unauthorized access attempts. This ensures the security of the entire website, as well as the stability of our server, and helps protect any other personal data processed elsewhere on the site. The IP addresses used for these checks are only used for this purpose. The brute force protection only applies to the administrative area of our website and does not affect the use of our website outside the protected area. (As of June 2023)
