Approach
During an extended collaboration, we continuously collect all relevant data on your hot runner systems and their outcomes under various sensor positions and boundary conditions. Based on this data, we train an artificial intelligence that predicts the optimal sensor placement through targeted variation of the positions. The proposed sensor position takes into account both the specific installation situation (e.g., no penetration of the melt channel or other components beyond the manifold block) and the simplest possible installation option (vertical drilling, if possible). You only provide the typical installation depths of your sensors - the artificial intelligence takes care of the rest. The result is an optimal sensor positioning that ensures the most homogeneous temperature distribution possible in the melt channel, based on other boundary conditions such as the cold side temperature and positioning of pressure pieces. If the desired temperature distribution is still not fully within the process window due to the design, we are happy to work with you to develop additional AI-based solutions.
