The IANUS-SimForm collaboration delivers complete digital simulation of the injection molding process, through a straight-forward and accessible cloud interface:

Greater Simulation Coverage

🔹IANUS Simulation's fill/pack results provide insight to designers into the moldability of the plastic part, and direct tooling engineers to select gating strategies that minimize air trap and weld lines.

🔹SimForm's generative design algorithms instruct mold makers where to optimally construct cooling channels, and build the case for conformal cooling.

🔹SimForm's fast mold cooling simulations identify hot spots, predict cycle times, compare cooling strategies, and evaluate energy consumption.

🔹IANUS Simulation's warpage solver identifies tolerance issues, directing design updates to both the part and the tool.

Consistent Process Data

🔹Using the same geometry, material properties, and boundary conditions across both tools ensures that each stage builds directly on the previous one, improving correlation with actual molding performance.

Shorter Iteration Cycles
🔹Engineers can identify and correct design or process issues earlier, reducing the number of tool modifications required after mold manufacture.

🔹Current StrömungsRaum® users can use SimForm to calculate more detailed cooling results as soon as the initial mold designs are available and make appropriate improvements to them.

🔹Current SimForm Users can now integrate StrömungsRaum® for advanced fill, pack, and warpage analysis without maintaining separate data pipelines.

🔹New Users can start with one solver and expand into the full integrated workflow as project requirements evolve.
