Injection molding

Actionable recommendations
The simulation now delivers a standardised report that presents all relevant results in a consistent way and adds actionable recommendations. Because the format is standardised, several reports can be compared directly with one another – different variants of a component, for example, or several projects side by side. In addition, a management summary is created that brings all relevant results together on a single page. For you this means: less interpretation effort, a robust basis for approval and a result that can also be passed on to colleagues without a simulation background.
A correction loop costs more than time.
When a technical assumption is not disproved until the trial run, this often results in additional coordination, rework, material scrap and delays. At the same time, design and development are tied up even though the next task is already waiting.
Loss of time: Additional scenarios and correction loops can delay the project by several weeks. It is not unusual for a single correction loop to add three to five weeks of extra work.
Direct costs: Rework, scrap and blocked machine or tooling capacity put a strain on the project budget. A subsequent correction can be up to 10 x more expensive than a simulation before the first trial run.
Tied-up specialists: Designers and developers are busy troubleshooting instead of working on new tasks. Early simulation can free up five to ten times more capacity instead – without additional staff.
Decision risk: Misinterpretations can put a strain on follow-up orders and customer relationships.
