Research that creates confidence in decisions

Before a simulation delivers a reliable result, there is research behind it: new calculation methods, more dependable models and the continuous further development of what simulation can achieve today. This work is the reason why our customers can rely on their results.

    Three research priorities

    Digital twin

We develop digital twins for individual machine components such as pumps, furnaces or reactors, right through to entire production plants in which several digital twins are coupled with each other.

    Simulationstechnologien

Highly automated and modular simulation workflows form a further foundation of our work. This is complemented by the development of new multiphysics simulation models and code coupling.

    AI systems

Based on extensive simulation data, we develop highly efficient AI systems for prediction, design and monitoring. To do so, we combine cloud and edge computing – AI training takes place in the cloud, AI inference at the edge.

    Research we drive forward together

A simulation is only as good as the knowledge it is built on. That is why we work closely with universities, research institutes and industrial partners – to develop further and to create new, innovative solutions together. Through the simulation network Simchronize we are also connected with experts and partners from across the industry and engage in targeted exchange on new developments.
